Data Sharing Policy

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IJMR) encourages transparency, openness, and reproducibility in scholarly research. Authors are encouraged to share research data supporting their published findings whenever possible.

1. Research Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to make the data, materials, and supporting information related to their research available to readers. Data availability statements should be included in the manuscript where applicable.

Authors may share research data through:

  • Institutional repositories.
  • Subject-specific data repositories.
  • Recognized public data platforms.
  • Supplementary files provided with the article.

2. Data Repository Information

When research data is publicly available, authors should provide:

  • Repository name.
  • Data access link or DOI (if available).
  • Description of the shared dataset.

Authors remain responsible for ensuring that shared data complies with ethical and legal requirements.

3. Exceptions and Confidential Data

Data sharing may not be possible in certain cases, including:

  • Protection of participant privacy.
  • Confidential or sensitive information.
  • Legal or institutional restrictions.
  • Ethical limitations.

In such cases, authors should provide an explanation regarding data access limitations.

4. Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and ethical management of research data. Data sharing does not remove authors’ responsibility for the published content.

5. Data Availability Statement

Authors should include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript indicating whether the research data are available, where they can be accessed, and any restrictions on data sharing.

  • Openly available data: "The data supporting this study are available from [repository/source] with the corresponding access link."
  • No external data: "This study did not generate or analyze any publicly available datasets."
  • Restricted data: "The data are not publicly available due to ethical, privacy, or institutional restrictions."

IJMR supports responsible data sharing practices that enhance transparency, research integrity, and scholarly collaboration.
