AI Policy

The International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IJMR) recognizes the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and writing. The journal supports responsible and transparent use of AI technologies while maintaining research integrity and authorship standards.

1. Disclosure of AI Tool Usage

Authors must disclose the use of AI tools or AI-assisted technologies during manuscript preparation, including:

  • Content generation or language improvement.
  • Data analysis or research assistance.
  • Image, figure, or graphical content creation.
  • Any other AI-supported research activities.

Authors should provide appropriate details about the AI tool used and its purpose.

Authorship requires human responsibility, intellectual contribution, accountability, and approval of the final manuscript.

3. Author Responsibility for AI-Generated Content

Authors remain fully responsible for all content submitted to the journal, including AI-assisted or AI-generated material.

Authors must ensure that:

  • AI-generated information is accurate and properly verified.
  • The manuscript does not contain plagiarism or fabricated content.
  • Ethical and copyright requirements are followed.
  • All sources and references are correctly cited.

4. Editorial Review of AI Usage

IJMR reserves the right to request clarification regarding the use of AI tools and may evaluate manuscripts for compliance with ethical publishing standards.

Undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI that affects research integrity may result in rejection, correction, or other appropriate editorial actions.

IJMR promotes responsible AI use in accordance with ethical principles of scholarly publishing and research integrity.

5. AI and Research Integrity

Authors must ensure that the use of AI tools does not compromise research originality, accuracy, ethical standards, or academic integrity. AI-generated content must be critically reviewed, verified, and appropriately disclosed before manuscript submission.

IJMR may request additional information regarding AI-assisted processes to ensure compliance with ethical publishing practices.
