Abstract

Multidisciplinary research methodologies have become increasingly important in tackling complex global issues that cannot be addressed within the boundaries of a single discipline. However, conducting research that involves collaboration among diverse academic disciplines presents a variety of challenges. These challenges include the integration of different methodological approaches, communication barriers, and issues related to data sharing and interpretation. This article explores these challenges by examining case studies from collaborative studies in Pakistan, highlighting the lessons learned and offering strategies for improving future multidisciplinary research projects.
