Mental health is a complex and multifaceted issue that affects individuals across the globe. Traditional approaches to mental health treatment often segregate various disciplines such as psychology, medicine, and public policy, which may lead to fragmented care. This article explores the necessity and impact of integrating these disciplines in addressing mental health issues more effectively. We examine the role of psychology in understanding mental well-being, the contributions of medicine in providing therapeutic interventions, and the influence of public policy in shaping healthcare systems that cater to mental health needs. This integration is proposed as a framework for comprehensive mental health care that is not only therapeutic but also preventative and accessible to diverse populations. Our research highlights the need for collaboration between these disciplines to create a cohesive and inclusive approach to mental health care, aiming to reduce stigma and improve patient outcomes.
